 ITBS Scores
When something woderful is achieved, it is time to celebrate! Based on 2009 year's ITBS scores, students, teachers, and parents have a lot to celebrate. Please take a moment to look at the summary table. While we must be very careful in how we use achievement test scores, these are extremely great scores! Since these scores mirror last year's scores, we know that this is not a fluke!! This is an objective validation that Spokane Valley Adventist School offers a top-notch academic program.
Percentile of 84 means that students in that class scored better than 84 percent of students taking that test. Grade equivalent should only be used as a comparative measure, not to say that our 8th graders should skip high school!
While these are great scores, we will continue to strive to improve our program. There are areas that we can improve. We want to make sure every student is achieving to their highest ability, even if this means pushing some of our students just a little bit more. As we strive to continue improving our program, please feel free to give us your suggestions and your support. As we work together, we can make a great school even better!
